On Saturday, October 13, 2012 Neil and Jane Golub will be presented with the prestigious Rabbi Michael M. Szenes Humanitarian Award in recognition of their distinguished service to our community.
Just like Rabbi Szenes, whose life experiences profoundly influenced his views on the way he lived his life, so too, have Neil’s and Jane’s. Their experiences have taken them on a journey which continues to provide them opportunities to respond to the needs of neighbors, friends, colleagues and family along with people they may not even know.
Neil and Jane are also strong advocates for civil rights and encourage others to read, listen, learn, think and in turn — take appropriate action. They care deeply about living a healthy life. Through their unwavering commitment to our community, Neil and Jane inspire us as role models to look at things from different perspectives, recognize vulnerabilities, determine the best way to make a difference and take action to make that difference a reality.
Neil and Jane care deeply for their community and their efforts can be felt by all of us. They have worked tirelessly to support causes that bring about positive change and hope for many.
