22 Years of Service in Our Community!
Mitzvah Day is about the spirit of volunteerism and giving back that has come to be one of the hallmarks of CGOH. This past November 3rd, we celebrated our 18th annual Mitzvah Day when more than 200 volunteers showed up and got to work on projects in our community. We raked leaves, made stew, sewed, sorted, donated, read, fixed, spruced, clipped, baked, Zumba’d, and recycled, and we provided hope and help. Our Zumbathon raised $600 to benefit the Immigration Law Clinic at Albany Law School.
And what better way to ring in the season of thankfulness? Even during the darkest part of the year, we were and will continue to be the light- in our community, to our neighbors, and to those who most need to see light in the darkness. Thank you to everyone who participated in making this year’s Mitzvah Day a tremendous success!
