The Golub Family Education Center
Finally, a Hebrew School that’s as fun as soccer practice!
Congregation Gates of Heaven keeps Jewish learning relevant to our student’s lives. The CGOH curriculum provides students with a strong foundation in Judaism and the tools to live their lives as ones who set the example for others in repairing the world—making our communities a better place.
Our goal is to plant the seeds of life-long learning through meaningful exploration, critical thinking skills and hands-on-learning with both classes and families.
Religious School 2020-2021
This is an extraordinary time for all of us. This school year has not been what we expected; however, I am immensely proud of how we have come together as a school and community and commend everyone’s hard work in accomplishing this effort. As a parent I know the challenges of homeschooling and being sheltered in place with children; as an educator I know the challenges of creating virtual educational opportunities. I believe when the ‘pause’ ends, we will have a greater appreciation for our teachers and our own abilities.
It is difficult to think about fall, but Congregation Gates of Heaven Golub Family Education Center’s Religious School will be here to continue as a school community and provide your children a Jewish education. We are going to do registration as “usual,” but as we plan for different scenarios for the opening of school, we will follow whatever guidelines are in place at that time and adjust our program/schedule as needed and will transition as needed.
Note: Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur fall on Sundays in September, we will begin Religious School on October 4, 2020. Registration deadline is August 2, 2020.

Teaching Hebrew has been a challenge. But, something was not right. Read more
